Final Day
Wow. Who knew that two days of chick sitting could really have such a huge impact on me and my worldly views? I've really grown to like these chicks, although they do chirp and poop a lot.

Today was my first experience with adopting three baby chickens for a couple of days. I had no idea what I was about to experience, and the thought of being responsible and caring for other living beings' lives made me quite nervous at first. The only pet I've had was a goldfish or two when I was a wee lad, so that doesn't really count, as my parents did all of the work in caring for them. Thus, this is was the first time that I truly had pets to take care of.
